5k

March 27th, 2010. This was my first race ever! The Goldenwest Credit Union 5k. The morning started out with me being cold and nervous. I didn't know what to expect. Once I saw my buddies, Jana and Jill, I felt better. The race started and I could hardly move, there were so many people there. I just had to get out of the swarm of people so I darted in and out of the people and took off running. I am not much of a runner, more of a run/walker. My finishing time was 42:11. I think I did pretty good for my first race and it had some huge hills, up and down!
